My Christmas Teddy Bear

Whilst I yearn to be able to churn out endless craft projects and merrily hand them out as birthday and Christmas gifts to my nearest and dearest, I long ago realised that I would never have a natural flair for such projects and that with the best will in the world, life would always get in the way of my irregular bouts of creativity.

Nevertheless, thanks to a Christmas present from my fab sister-in-law, I did go on a course with my mum (who is infinitely more skilled in this area) to produce a teddy bear. If I'm honest I was slightly concerned that no-one would actually recognise my creation as a bear and assume it was a take on some kind of yeti, but I must say after a hard day's work (and the sacrifice of a night out with the girls as all my brain power had been sapped by the effort!) I was immensely proud of my achievement and my gorgeous Christmas bear!

So proud in fact, that it is still sitting on my sofa in pride of place in mid February to inspire me to make another all-year-round type bear........
