I hate bad grammar......

....... I always have

It amuses me that I get so worked up about it, increasingly these days, as no one seems to check anything, edit anything or indeed give a damn about anything they've written, especially if they're texting, tweeting, status updating or blogging.  My biggest hate is badly written company signage, flyers and websites.  Surely if there's anywhere you should check and check again (or get someone else to if you're not sure) your company literature should be it?  Aaaaaarrgghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

I often wonder whether I should have been an editor or proof writer, but to be honest, it would probably take me so long to ever finish anything as I'd be reading and re-reading it so many times that I would probably be sacked.

The popularity of 'Eats, Shoots & Leaves' by Lynne Truss demonstrates that there is still a love of the English language and this article from the BBC really made me smile.

Please don't get me started on the Oxford comma though, never mind the incorrect use of apostrophes:

(Ten points to anyone who spots my grammatical errors above)
